Now that I have been in Lecce for over two weeks now I wanted to share with you some of the food and dishes that are typical to find in the region of Salento. Feel free to go on the internet and find more about each dish if it is appetizing to you. I have not tried everything. But I can say the wine, the gelato, the pasticciotto, the frisa d'orzo, the puccia and the pasta di mandorla are delicious. I hope I can try more food before I leave. Again I am sorry for the food post, but I know you secretly enjoy it!
Miss everyone!
Con tanto amore,
Samantha
